Momo SparkMomo Spark

From the Kathmandu valley to Beaufort Street

Momo Spark is a Nepali kitchen and bar at 283 Beaufort Street, Perth. We opened in August 2026 with a simple plan: homestyle Nepalese cooking, done properly, with a good drink alongside.

Momo come first. Every dumpling is folded by hand and served with our tomato-coriander chutney. Have them steamed, fried or kothey (pan-fried, crisp underneath), tossed in chilli or peri-peri, or swimming in jhol (a sesame and tomato broth), hot or cold.

Then there’s the grill. Sekuwa (charcoal-grilled meat) is marinated with Nepalese herbs and spices and cooked over the coals. The khaja set (snack platter) comes with chiura (beaten rice), roasted soybeans, salad, achar (pickle) and aalu bodi tama. Thali sets bring rice and the trimmings. And the bar is a proper bar: cocktails, mocktails, wine and beer, including Mustang, Arna and Barahsinghe from Nepal.
